Escape to this rural idyll just an hour’s drive from west London. The property is nestled down a peaceful no through lane in the South Downs National Park. The accomodation consists of a recently renovated 19th century cottage with two attached converted barns that make up the sitting/dining room and kitchen.
There are woodburners in the barn/living area and the master bedroom. A seperate living room has a large TV with Netflix and Apple TV.
The half acre back garden is fenced and dog proofed, we are very dog friendly here. We have two lively spaniels who love running in the woods across the lane and snoozing in front of the fire.
In the summer months there is a bbq and outside seating. The sun sets at the back of the house and bathes the garden in a golden glow. Pefect spot for a sundowner!
Woods and fields surround with plenty of footpaths from the front door, ideal for ramblers and dog walkers alike. Deer roam free and kestrels wheel above.
With two excellent local pubs and a village shop in nearby Lurgashall there is everything you need for a relaxing getaway to the beautiful West Sussex countryside.
Sleeping accomodation:
The bedrooms consist of a super king sized ( ground floor ) master bedroom with ensuite shower room. Upstairs there is a further king sized bedroom and a twin room sharing a bathroom with a full sized tub and a walk in shower.
The bed linen is 100% linen and the towels are soft and fluffy ! Eco friendly shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided. There is a hair dryer in the master bathroom.
Living areas:
There are two living rooms and one small office area with WIFI. The large converted barn has sofas and chairs around a log burner. There is also a dining table for six people.
The summer room looking onto the garden has a new LED televsion with comfy sofas. For those rainy days there are books, puzzles and boardgames.
The kitchen has everything you need to cook as well as the all important tea and coffee provided. There is a dishwasher and washing machine ( and dryer use upon request ) with tablets provided for your stay.
